BIG DREAMS

I've been thinking, dreaming and praying about different things that can be done here in Boracay. I would love to open up a PUBLIC LIBRARY with a BIG reading room.There are plenty of people here that have a thirst for knowledge but lacking in books. Many that wants to learn how to read and write but lacking in teachers and a place to learn. I have managed to get commitments from volunteers that are willing to teach.(University grads with teaching background but no jobs .) I just need to provide them with transportation,books, and they will accept food as an honorarium.

I would love to open up a HOSPITAL that is equipped to handle emergencies, traumas in a safe and clean manner. Most of the clinics here are able to stabilize you then send you to a big city like Manila where one can get a top notch treatment. This is acceptable to the haves but downright deadly to the have nots which amounts to over 2/3 of the population.

I would love to have A YOUTH WORKER come here and minister to the teen agers FULL TIME. There are ministries for kids but none for young people.This place is ripe for picking.

There is a time to think and a time to act.
