Finished clearing the land today. I will now resurvey the land to get the actual reference points. We will finish the clean up job next week when the uprooted thorns, thistles, and weeds have dried up. The plant that has a lot of nasty thorns apparently bears a tasty root vegetable like a potato. I will definitely eat some to appease the hole that it left in my sole.
I went to get a haircut today (already?) at the same place that got me preaching the last time. The hairdresser told me that he is a christian but haven't been in a church service for a long time now as he is required to work 7 days/week. I indicated to him that I am willing to start up a bible study group for him and others who might want to join in. There are currently 10 people that are interested in coming.
The resort I'm staying in have Korean visitors today. They came in at 7pm with 3kg of fresh prawns, 4 lobsters and 4kg of oysters. They asked the resort staff to cook these items for their dinner tonight. The staff was caught off guard and I was asked to assist and be a "celebrity chef" for the night. To those that know me well understands that I never say no to these kind of challenges. The kitchen facility is limited and so are the spices and other ingredients. This is sort of my own version of Iron Chef. I made a mock lobster thermidor, prawns in sweet chili sauce, broiled oysters and prawn consomme. They were very appreciative of the meals. I had a blast. Job well done.
