I went to Cebu though Iloilo because of cheap airfare. The average price from Caticlan is about P6000 ($125) one way, while the cost to fly from Iloilo is only P900($22.50) however I have to endure a 6 hour bus ride to get there. It is a comfortable air-con bus for P300($12.50)
Boy, was I ever impressed with the Iloilo airport. It Is a beautiful facility with good amenities. Good food selection and a wi-fi connection. This is a superior airport compared to the domestic one in Manila.
Landed in Cebu at 8 pm. My contact (Recel) picked me up and treated me to a steak dinner at the Ayala Centre. This is one oppulent mall. We ended up talking for hours about his walk with GOD.
