Waiting is the hardest thing in life. We have placed our home for sale. There were many lookers but not many takers. The market has dried up and the prices are starting to go down. It is starting to be discouraging when you spend a lot of time cleaning up and making your home looking presentable and not get a single offer. Doubts starting to creep up and bogs you down.
I was driving home from work one afternoon and I asked the LORD for a sign. "Please forgive me father for my weak faith but is it possible that you can give me something that I can hold on to?" I was caught in a traffic when I noticed that the Philippine flag is flying high on pole of the New Westminster City Hall. I called them to ask why would they be flying the Philippine flag. Nobody knows that it is even there. I took that as an answer to my prayer. I was comforted. In the same way, Anita was also feeling the angst of waiting. She told me that she was also praying while driving that GOD would ease her somehow. The vehicle in front of her was sporting a license plate that read " ENDURE". She had a good laugh. I understand why Jesus would often say," oh you of little faith". I am just glad that GOD is patient with me.
