Faith is...

Anita and several friends went to the Philippines in September to see what the land is like. To physically see the land is important to the decision process. Our friends went because they were interested in perhaps coming along and moving to the Philippines with us and be a part of the mission and also help us with our kids. They returned back with a favorable response. Anita encouraged me to put the house in the market.
We have thought that we will be living in this house for the next 20 years at least. We loved the location and the comfort that it gives. It is close to school, church and our friends.We are settled.It's our home. I have a good job at the mission that I enjoy doing and everything is good. But we strongly believe that GOD is calling us to go to Boracay. Giving up what we got for an unknown future in the Philippines is a big stretch for me.However, I believe that GOD
didn't save me to be comfortable but to be used for his purpose. I believe that faith is about following GOD and taking Him at his word regardless of cost. There is no question that faith is important, but faith will never stand alone without obedience, we must fully obey God's commands if we are to demonstrate the meaning of faith. Throughout this time I believe that my wife had stronger faith than I am, however, I am learning.
