I went to preach at the Church on the Rock today. Every sunday the children would share their memory verses. and do a special presentation. I am pretty rusty with my tagalog but thankful that most are able to understand english as well. Hey, I spoke in tongue ;)
I went to my favorite chicken place for lunch and noticed a young lady crying. I sat down with her and asked if she was ok. She told me that she is pregnant and did not know how to break this to her mom. I asked if we can pray about it then just as we finished, her mom was standing right beside us. She explained the situation right there and her mom wept and gave her a big hug. They thanked me and left.
Went with the two ladies from the Baptist church to do a sunday school ministry in Bulabog beach. The older lady was a retired teacher and is now trying to help the poor children get ready to go to elementary school. There are many older children that cannot read/write and has no capacity to go to school. These kids need help. It would cost about $100/ kid for a whole school year including their text books. I'd love for you guys to help out and make a difference in the lives of these special ones. It is a worthwhile investment.
