Got myself an incredibly cheap flight to boracay for P788 ($19.70). The baggage clerk told me that I have 38 kg over limit (10 kg allowance) and the cost would be P90 ($2.25)/kg. He wondered why I was carrying so much luggage and I told him that I am moving to the island as a missionary. He wrote something on a piece of paper and directed me to the cashier. The cashier was bedazzled that I am getting a huge discount as I am only being charged for 20 kg and they also told me that I do not have to wait for 2 hours as there is a seat available for a flight leaving in 15 minutes. Boy, was I ever ecstatic. I remembered myself saying " I'm home" when I saw the aerial view of Boracay island.
