I was at an internet cafe using my magic jack when I bumped in to 2 short term missionaries from YWAM. They are currently doing DTS in Switzerland and came to Boracay for 3 weeks of mission trip. I told them that I am very familiar with YWAM Vancouver and have worked alongside with them for 10 years during my ministry days with Union Gospel Mission. They took me to meet the pastor of Church on the Rock. They are the ones that are spearheading the feeding ministry for the kids in the island. I joined them that afternoon on the ministry site in Tambisaan where they shared a bible story, sang silly songs with actions played with the kids and fed them. I had the opportunity to share during the bible study for the parents of the kids.
I can't wait for the NFC youth group to come here and do a short term ministry with these wonderful kids. How about the gang from Cornerstone or CCCC,Mississauga Baptist, Douglas College Nursing students, hey Ryan and Hilary how about sending some teams this way ,huh? There is a lot of work to be done. Can you be counted for? I'd love to work with all of you folks again hopefully someday here in Boracay. Make sure you guys take Bill Wong with you.

When Jeremy and I come out in 2011 we definately will want to come with some resources and do some work with you.
