I went to window shop for a queen size mattress at a mall today. I indicated my need for about 49 beds and a lady introduced me to a whole array of their products and costs. She asked me if I am from Canada as my hat indicated and explained to me that she had a canadian boyfriend 3 years ago.He promised to take her to canada, got her pregnant and never saw him since.She was separated with her husband at that time.Today, she is living with a new boyfriend and her husband wants her back. She has 4 kids from 3 different men. Our coversation quickly went from mattress to men.
"Do you think GOD will ever forgive me for my messy life? she asked. I shared with her the story of the woman at the well. Fortunately there were no other clients in the store as she started sobbing heavily. I shared with her the story of the cross and she asked me to pray for her.It was a good day.
I, however am still shopping for queen size mattress. I wonder where this would lead me next.
