HELP wanted

I went to visit Yapak Elementary School today. This is the poorest school in Boracay.This is also the area where we are going to be residing. The principal indicated the need for more teachers but not able to hire due to very limited funds. The kindergarten section is currently closed due to such.They are requesting for volunteer teachers but none to be found. They asked me if I would like to volunteer to teach creation and moral values to the kids. They have asked a local church to take this on but have not heard from them since. I told them that I would love to but will have to wait for materials that will be coming from my friend Denis Dreves.

The school also has a baseball team with very antiquated gloves.They also have a girls fastpitch team on the high school side. I have asked for help from some friends to see if they can furnish some equipments for these kids. The school kids love sports and I think Anita and Rick W.will fit in well in this endeavor. The kids are hungry for someone to play with and to involve them with other activities.This is exciting stuff. I'd love to see what GOD is going to do here.
