Sunday school

I was invited to hang out with 40 kids at a small shack. I shared about Jesus and told them bible stories.They seemed to be so happy in spite of their poor condition. They were so attentive and really takes on what I was sharing. I asked them what was the story all about and they practically said it word for word.I brought some candies but it was not enough for everybody so I told them that I will bring some more when I come back next week. I noticed a 10 year old girl give her candy to a small child. I asked her why she gave her candy away and she said "If GOD can give HIS SON to die for me I surely can easily give a candy, it's too bad I only have one to give,besides GOD will give me another candy someday."
Did she ever "get it."
We often relish the whole idea of GOD loving us deeply and and even quoting "while we were yet sinners, christ died for us" yet still have a hard time loving others and attending to their needs.
I came to tell a story,she lived that story today. I was really blest to see and experience this.I hope you are too.
